We Care started in 1990 with an 11 hour show raising just over $14,400. The response was so great the very next year We Care expanded to a full 24 hours, raising $30,120. 1992 saw an increase in excess of 25% to $38,000. In 1993, We Care topped $40,600. We Care saw yet another record year of giving in 1994 with a total of $46,500. We Care 1995 raised $41,600. 1996 saw We Care top the $50,000 mark with a grand total of $53,508.56. In 1997, We Care reached a fantastic total of $61,311.40. In 1998 We Care raised $70,002.27 The total for 1999 $70,110 and bought warm clothing for 900 school children.
In 2000, We Care raised a total of $70,111.72.
